HVAC and Sustainability
Most cooling equipment operates at its maximum efficiency when at full load, but this may be a requirement of just 10% of the actual operating uptime. By considering the correct part load performance of HVAC equipment, accrued energy savings can be substantial. Aircons works in conjunction with Integrated Building designers like NDY and others in a process that is collaborative and interactive, rather than linear. This ensures that our expertise and experience is added on to the vast pool of building information management and energy modeling, allowing overall energy and sustainability goals to be met – rather than just a first cost consideration.
Aircons Sustainability Initiative
One of the key projects that Aircons has worked on which showcases our concern for the issues of environment and sustainability is the changeover of R22 refrigerant units to R410 for the Charter Hall chain of markets throughout NSW. R410 has a zero ozone depletion potential.
Safer Environments
We believe in the creation of processes and systems that are non-polluting, conserving of energy and natural resources, economically efficient, safe for workers, customers and communities whilst being socially conscious and creatively rewarding for all working people. |
